Prior to teaching students the skills in the Overcoming Obstacles curriculum, it is important that they learn about and set expectations for the program. Throughout the Getting Started Module, students will identify the specific skills they will learn and practice throughout the program, how they will apply these skills to their daily lives, and the importance of cooperating with other students as they learn these skills, and more.
